Assistant Principal Bio
I am a new member of the AES family, and I am thrilled to be here. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and continued my education by attending graduate school at Lamar University where I received my Master of Educational Administration degree. Before moving into a campus administrator role, I taught junior high language arts for seventeen years. My husband is a teacher at Joshua High School, and my three children graduated from Alvarado High School several years ago and are now venturing out into the work world -- Josh is still in school working toward his teaching degree, Tyler is working for an insurance company working toward his actuarial career, and Kelsey began her first year of teaching this year. I look forward to being a part of this campus that is filled to the brim with enthusiasm, positivity, and love of learning.
